Clothes Closet PDF Print E-mail
Written by Farah Metzger

All Year Event Contact:  Farah Metzger
The Clothes Closet is designed to help those that are less fortunate in our own school district. Forms are generated by the nurses in each school for children who are in need of school clothes. The parents bring the forms to the Clothes Closet where they choose outfits and receive new socks and underwear, plus a coat and jacket for the winter. The Clothes Closet is sponsored by the Round Rock Council of PTAs, and all clothing is provided free of cost to the families in need. The Clothes Closet is open Wednesdays and Thursdays only.

What Can LME Do to Help?
We need volunteers to represent Laurel Mountain on our designated work days which are typically the last Thursday of each month
(remaining days for this school year are Feb. 25, April 1, April 29 and May 27). The work shift is from 9:30 – 11:30 AM. It is really an easy two hours of work. Duties include sorting and hanging up the donated clothes, and helping patrons find what they are looking for. Other schools will also have representatives volunteering so you'll get the chance to meet and work with parents from all over the district. Click here to volunteer.

Where is Clothes Closet Located?

The Clothes Closet is located in a portable on the south side of Voigt Elementary. See Google for a map of Voigt Elementary. Clothes Closet phone number is 244-4359. The school's phone number is 428-7500 if you'd like to call to get directions.
