!Art Volunteers in the Classroom is an arts enrichment program provided by trained parent volunteers. We introduce students to a variety of artists through observation and discussion in the classroom. Training is provided offsite at members' homes 4 times during the school year, and no previous knowledge of art or art history is required. We have artist of all expressions in the school portfolio. (You don't need to be an expert in art to join us! We will provide you with all the information you need and give you the training to present it.)

The Art Volunteers in the classroom has an annual Art Trivia Contest, where the kids will be answering questions about the artist we presented during the year.
We have wonderful art prizes to award this year! There will be 5 winners per grade, plus one lucky Grand Prize winner! All winners will be announced at the PTA meeting on Gallery Night.
We would like to encourage everyone to participate since we want to have lots of winners !
So, come and join us as a Volunteer, it is a great way to be a part of your child's education!!
