PTA Reflections Program 2008/2009

The theme for this year is "Wow"

Reflections 2005

Students! Put on your dancing shoes, grab a camera, pickup a paintbrush and show your creative side with this excellent NATIONAL competition. All students from K-5 can participate!

This is what you do:

  1. Choose one or more of the following categories
    1. Dance/Choreography *NEW*
    2. Film/Video *NEW*
    3. Visual Arts
    4. Literature
    5. Music Composition
    6. Photography
  2. Create your work at home or school. You can use a computer to create the work if you like. This year's theme is " I can make a difference by"
  3. Fill out one registration form for each entry.
  4. Submit your entries to your teacher by October 26, 2007.
  5. Submit as many entries as you like.

This is what you get:

A ribbon Smile for every student who participates. The top 20% of entries Laughing will advance to the RRISD Council, the best go on to the state competition and then on to compete for national recognition Embarassed. 

Judges will evaluate your work based on 3 criteria:

  1. How well does it express the theme?
  2. How original is it?
  3. How well is it executed?
